2 workers die in septic tank in Cumilla
Two workers died after inhaling poisonous gas while working inside a septic tank in Cumilla Sadar South Upazila on Friday (July 13).
The deceased were identified as Yasin, 30, son of Ajijur Rahman, hailed from Shailmari village of Jaldhaka Upazila, and the other could not be identified.
3 workers landed in a septic tank of an under construction building. 2 of them were suffocated to death. The third worker was transported to Cumilla Medical College Hospital in a critical condition, quoting locals.
Adil Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Cumilla Sadar Police Station, endorsed the incident.
