2 ex-Biman officials arrested
Biman Bangladesh Airlines' former director Mohammad Ali Ahsan (Marketing and sell) and former deputy general manager Iftekher Hossain Chowdhury have been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The ACC nabbed the duo from Segunbagicha area in the capital on Tuesday.
ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.
Md Nasir Uddin, deputy director of the ACC, filed the case against 16 people, including Mohammad Ali and Iftekher Hossain, with the ACC's ingrated Dhaka office this morning.
The case was filed for misappropriating money of Tk 118 crore in Cargo handling since 2008.
