2 bodies recovered as truck falls into Turag river
Two bodies were recovered and two still missing as a truck fell into Turag river in Ashulia on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as truck driver Mujahid and Shahin.
Abdul Hamid, senior officer of DEPZ Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the driver of a brick-laden truck lost control over the steering and fell into the river in Moragang area around 6am.
Rescue operation is on, said Abdul Hamid.
