Pickup van rams rickshaw; kills child
A one-year-old child was killed when a pickup van rammed into a rickshaw at Mohammadpur area in Dhaka on Sunday night.
Victim Nabila's mother Nazma Begum said a pickup van smashed the rickshaw carrying she, her daughter and her brother in front of Arman Hospital around 10pm.
Later, Nabila was crushed under the wheels of the rickshaw.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injury around 11pm.
Mohammadpur Police Station OC Jamal Uddin Mir confirmed the news.
