12 more die at RMCH Covid unit
As much as 12 more people have died at the coronavirus unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) within the last 24 hours.
Ten of the deceased were Covid-19 positive patients while others had virus symptoms.
Three of the deceased were from Rajshahi district, six from Chapainawabganj, one from Meherpur, and two from Natore district.
RMCH deputy director Dr Saiful Ferdous confirmed the matter on Monday morning.
In the last a day, 188 samples were tested for coronavirus in RMCH while 74 of these found positive for the virus.
Meanwhile, a complete of 464 samples were tested at Rajshahi Medical College where 169 positive cases were detected with the positivity rate of 41.18 per cent. Of them, 80 cases in Rjshahi, 26 in Natore, and 63 in Naogaon district.
