Worker dies falling from rooftop in Dhaka
A worker died after falling from the rooftop of a three-storey under-construction building at Shimultola area in Ashulia.
The incident happened on Thursday noon (May 9).
The victim was identified as Nazmul Harun, 20, son of Noyesh Miah, from Sadullapur upazila of the district.
Immediately after the fall, the youth was taken to a local hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
“Dead body, after recovering it, was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital for post-mortem. A case will be filed in this connection,” Miraj Hossen, sub inspector of Ashulia police station, told Banglanews.
