Women killed in Dhaka road accident
Two women were killed during a road crash in Dhaka's Mohakhali area early Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Duldana Akter Kochi, a territory officer of Pearl International Ltd, and Sonia of Bhola.
Banani police headquarters duty officer Md Afzal said an unknown vehicle hit a scooter carrying the duo ahead of Setu Bhaban around 12:45am, leaving them injured.
The critically injured women were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared them dead at about 1:30am, said DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Miah.
