Woman 'raped' by his father-in-law in capital
A man was detained by police from Dhaka’s Mirpur-11 area on Sunday for reportedly violating his daughter-in-law.
A news release, sent by 999 media cell, said the victim on Sunday morning hours made a call to the emergency helpline support and said that her father-in-law violated her.
Quoting the victim, the news release said, “My hubby is actually disabled and father-in-legislation harassed me several times following the death of my own mother-in-laws. He raped me in the morning and threatened me not to disclose the matter to anyone."
Pallabi Law enforcement Station duty officer sent a good group led by sub-inspector Shafiar Rahman to Block-A at Mirpur Section 11 immediately after receiving the phone call up from the emergency support.
Law enforcement rescued the victim and detained her father-in-laws Awal Ali, 70.
Legal process in this connection is certainly underway.
