Woman ‘commits suicide’ killing 2 daughters
A woman allegedly commits suicide by having position after killing her two minor daughters at their residence in Rangunia upazila early on Tuesday (April 30).
The deceased were identified as Daisy Akhter, 28, wife of Md Nur Nabi of Srafbhata area, their two daughters Iva Akhter, 6, and Israt Nur, 10 months.
Daisy took poison after poisoning her two kids to death any time during last night, said Alauddin, Assistant Sub Inspector of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost, quoting family members.
Sensing the matter, the family members took them to CMCH where doctors pronounced them dead.
