Vehicles without fitness will not be permitted to ply from July 1: BRTA
Bangladesh Road Transfer Authority (BRTA) has said that the registration will be cancelled from July 1 if the unfit automobiles of over a decade or even more renew their registration by June 30. 

On Friday, the BRTA published a find in this regard. 

The notice signed by BRTA's Director (Engineering) mentions that according to Section 25 of Highway Transport Act 2018, it really is mandatory to procure fitness certificates of automobiles. In spite of it, it has been observed after analysing the BRTA's database that quite a large number of cars plying on roads for a lot more than ten years didn't get their health renewed from the BRTA.

In such a problem, the owners of the unfit motor vehicles have already been requested to obtain respective motor vehicle's health renewed from the BRTA by June 30.

Otherwise, automobiles, whose fitness expired more than ten years ago will come to be destroyed or declared unfit for plying from July 1.
