US Embassy Dhaka commences accepting interview waiver applications to renew visas
The U.S. Embassy is currently accepting applications to renew specific classifications of nonimmigrant visas. Qualified candidates need to sign in and/or upgrade their account online at www.ustraveldocs.com/bd, and submit the application packet, right after paying associated visa fees, in the designated offsite service provider: https://bd.usembassy.gov/important-notice-regarding-changes-visa-collection-center/
The Embassy will process applications that are qualified for interview-waiver renewal of F, J, M, O, Q, and, C1/D visas. Interview waiver checklist is available here: https://bd.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/70/2017/01/drop-box-checklist-revised-13117.pdf
In order to be eligible for an interview-waiver renewal, the application should be for the same classification of visa and become made within 24 months of the expiration time of the older visa.
Following the Embassy receives an application, the reviewing Consular Officer might determine that the applicant will demand an in-person interview. These people will have to schedule an interview when frequent visa services resume.
The visa application charge (MRV) is valid and could be used to schedule an interview appointment in the country where it had been purchased within twelve months of the day of payment. Applicants with an urgent subject and have to travel instantly can contact at this email address:

Candidates for H1B, L1, and certain J classes and their dependents covered by Presidential Proclamation 10052 may request an appointment only when they have purpose to trust they qualify for one of the exceptions listed found in the Proclamation https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-aliens-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-following-coronavirus-outbreak/.
The U.S. Embassy is usually accepting applications to renew the following classifications of visas:
C1/D: Transit/Ship Crew
F1: Continuing pupils who wish to renew their scholar visas. This only pertains to learners who happen to be continuing in the same discipline of review at the same organization. It is not for learners who are start their review in the U.S. and/ or happen to be changing academic programs, or who want an interview for just about any reason.
F2: Spouses and/or unmarried children beneath the age group of 21 of continuing F1 students.
J: Exchange Visitor Visa (does not include aliens taking part in an intern, trainee, instructor, camp counselor, au match, or summer work travel method per Presidential Proclamation 10014).
M: Students - Vocational.
O: Foreign nationals with extraordinary ability in sciences, arts, education, organization, or athletics.
Q: Exchange site visitors - international cultural.
