US-Bangla Airlines celebrates 4yrs of operation
Dacca : US-Bangla Airlines celebrates four years of service since 2014. A leading private airline in Bangladesh started its operation, with its maiden flight from Dhaka to Jashore on July 17.
US-Bangla commenced her operation with two Dash8-Q400 aircraft. Within four years of its operation, the airline boasts of seven aircrafts in its fleet with four Boeing 737-800 and three Dash8-Q400. Two more Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 777-200 ER aircrafts will be added to its fleet by end of this year.
Internationally, US-Bangla Airlines operates to Kolkata, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou from Dhaka and to Muscat, Doha and Kolkata from Chattogram. In the domestic sector, it is operating from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Jashore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Barishal and Rajshahi routes.
Very soon US-Bangla Airlines will expand its wings to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Riyadh, Hong Kong, Chennai, New Delhi and other new destinations.
In recognition, US-Bangla achieved the title of the “Best Private Airlines” as well as “Best Domestic Airlines” among all other private carriers in Bangladesh. Other prestigious awards received are “Best Airline in Bangladesh-2016” by PATA, “Best Airline of the Year-2015” in Domestic Sector by The Bangladesh Monitor. US-Bangla also received “Best Domestic Airline of the Year-2014 and 2015” by the Travellers Forum.
