UK pressure on for Rohingya repatriation
British Minister of State for the Commonwealth and the UN Lord Tariq  Mahmood Ahmad  said UK  was continuing its pressure upon Myanmar to send Rohingyas back to their homeland .

Tariq Mahmood Ahmad said, in a Twitter message on Monday (August 26), that conditions in Rakhine state were terrible even after two years.

He said pressure was being kept on implementation of the recommendations of Kofi Annan-led advisory commission. Besides, this (Kofi Annan-led advisory commission) is the best way for the development of stability and repatriation in Rakhine state.  We express respect towards Bangladesh's generosity for providing shelter to the Rohingyas.

The 25th of August marks two years of Rohingya exodus to Bangladesh. The exodus began on this of 2017 with inception of atrocity.
