U‘73 contemporary BOPs to be placed up’ to improve BGB’s capacity
The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) using its Chairperson and Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Tuesday approved the project titled ‘Construction of BGB’s 73 composites/modern observation posts (BOP) in border areas’,” said pr officer (PRO) of the BGB Headquarters Md Shariful Islam.
He said the Primary Minister has taken several landmark guidelines to increase manpower found in border areas, improve casing facilities for BGB people employed in the BOPs, and strengthen physical conveniences and structural security.
As part of the government’s efforts for the constant development of the force, he said the Prime Minister approved a project about the construction of 73 additional new composite BOPs.
“On behalf of the complete BGB family, the Director General of the force offers expanded his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Primary Minister for approving the task. It’ll be written permanently in golden letters as a milestone for the sustainable production of the BGB and the country,” Shariful said.
He said 134 BOPs have been completely set up according to the directives of the Prime Minister.
With the construction of 73 newer BOPs, he said, it will be possible to boost the manpower along the border, improve housing facilities for the BGB people employed in BOPs alongside strengthening the physical facilities and infrastructural security.
“It’ll also help improve the operational ability of the BGB many times and also have a positive effect on the morale of the troops. It’ll also be looked at as an exemplary stage towards enhancing the entire wellbeing and excellence of the pressure involved in safeguarding the united states, the BGB PRO added.
He said the BGB, referred to as the vigilant guard of the border, is currently a symbol of confidence of the persons of Bangladesh. “It provides continuously been having out the great responsibilities and obligations assigned by the government with honesty, dedication, proficiency and sincerity in ensuring the security over the borders of remote hilly, river and other property regions of Bangladesh.”
