Turkish Airlines’ Agency Award Night held
Turkish Airlines organised an Agency Award Night on March 27 at Radisson Blue Dhaka Water Garden to recognise their top performing passenger and cargo agents in 2018.
Senior executives from around 150 travel agents and 60 cargo agents, Turkish Airlines’ corporate members along with representatives from Turkish Embassy in Bangladesh and others attended the ceremony.
Emrah Karaca, Turkish Airlines’ Country Manager Bangladesh and Regional Cargo Sales and Marketing Manager Halit Tuncer spoke among others on the occasion. They expressed their thanks to the agents for their support in growth of the airline in Bangladesh in 2018.
Halit Tuncer said that Turkish Airlines’ cargo revenue grew by 30 percent in 2018.
Awardee cargo sales agents are WAC Logistics Limited, SG Logistics (PVT) Ltd, HELLMANN Worldwide Logistics Ltd. and TOTAL Transportation Limited while the passenger agents are Be Fresh, Victory Travels, Victory Travels, International Travel Corporation, Suma International, Anower Tours and Travels, Dynamic Travels, Horizon Express Limited, Valencia Air Travel and Tours and Hajee Air Travels Ltd. Hajee Air Travels was also awarded for highest revenue contribution in 2018.
The program also featured Turkish folk dance and Turkish Ney flute music performances.
