Transport workers block Dhaka-Aricha highway for 1hr
Over 500 of transport personnel took to the road in Savar and staged demonstration blocking Dhaka-Aricha highway on Tuesday demanding three-point demands.
They blocked the highway around 9:30am and sit-in there chanting slogans.
Their three-point demands are relief foods assistance, stop toll collection and begin of public transport service as quickly as possible.
After 1 hour of blockade, the demonstrators left the road after getting assurance from the transport owners.
