Tourist influx increases found in Jammu and Kashmir after snowfall
Following weighty snowfall, the tourist influx in Jammu and Kashmir has got increased now following a lull due to the Covid-19 pandemic.For the last few years, Kashmir tourism has hit badly because of the disturbing scenarios in the valley and Covid-19 which led to a huge loss to persons in the tourism and related businesses.
"We've suffered a loss in the previous years but as the problem is improving, our companies are reviving," explained Rafiq Ahmad, a tourist cab driver, reports ANI.Kashmir valley receives snowfall in huge quantities which draws in a great number of tourists. "The visit to Kashmir in winters will probably be worth the cost as the surroundings and the people are charming," stated Pankaj, a tourist.
This season also Kashmiri persons have faced problems too due to the harsh winters, making the famous Dal Lake freeze. However, the frozen lake provides attracted extra tourists. "Kashmir gets the virtually all beautiful winters, with lakes frozen and gardens covered in snow. Everyone should visit the place as it can be a breath-taking knowledge," said Vaishali, another tourist.
The Valley is known because of its natural and mesmerizing beauty which attracts a whole lot of tourists in nearly every season, who like to watch the elements and sights. "Cold months tourism is doing well and the quality and quantity of snowfall is usually a blessing. We have the most amazing key destinations on earth like Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Tulip garden, Srinagar, etc.," Sarmad Hafeez, Tourism Secretary informed ANI. "The state is organizing some mega-events in Gulmarg and Pahalgam to attract considerably more tourists," he added.
