The Islamic Foundation has fixed this year's minimum Fitra at Tk 70 as the maximum at Tk 2,200 per person.
Your choice was taken at a meeting of the committee formed to create the Fitra.
The committee president and Baitul Mukarram National Mosque's senior pesh Imam Hafez Mawlana Mohammad Mizanur Rahman presided over the meeting held on Monday.
Islamic Foundation's assistant PRO Shayla Sharmin confirmed media about the matter.
Fitra, also called as Fitrah or Fitrana or Zakat al Fitr, may be the obligatory charity that Muslims have to give after the sighting of the Eid moon. It is obligatory on every family. Without giving this, their Eid is not complete.
