Taylor Swift closes one of the most beautiful stages of her life and prepares for her birthday with Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift turns her attention to her upcoming birthday as the 34-year-old officially closes out her Eras tour with a series of emotional messages at the BC Place in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8.
The popstar will turn 35 on December 13, so it's only fitting she closes off one of the most successful years of her life on the stage that made over two billion dollars in ticket revenue according to estimates by The New York Times.
The Cruel Summer singer's shows were in so much demand that she even extended her stays in the United Kingdom and put on a second set of shows in the United States, before concluding in Canada.
And it's had just about everything from dashing outfits, powerful vocals, Travis Kelce cameos and even a foiled terrorist attack in Vienna, Austria, as she reflected on all of the moments and celebrated the milestones.
"We've gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour," Swift later told the fans at the sold-out stadium. "I want to thank every single one of you.
"For being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date, my beloved Eras Tour."
Fans hail Swift with loving touch
Of course, now the show is over, the pop sensation could easily dip out of the public eye save for those appearances at the Arrowhead Stadium to support Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL.
And fans were well aware of that as they chose to celebrate her upcoming birthday earlier by serenading their star by singing Happy Birthday to Swift before she turns 35 and mathematically becomes closer to 40 than 30.
