Tama in Kakoli's film 'From Bangladesh'
Lustrous actress Tama Mirza, who won the prestigious National Film Award for her stellar performance in Shahnewaz Kakoli-directed 'Nodijon', is going to star in yet another film of the same director.

This time around, Tama will appear in Kakoli's upcoming film 'From Bangladesh'. The actress will portray a lead role named Sufia opposite actor Ashish Khandokar. With half of the film's production already done, Tama will participate in the next phase of the shooting starting from November 23. About working under Kakoli's direction once again, Tama said, "I am really grateful to Kakoli Apu (Shahnewaz Kakoli) as I won my first National Film Award for her film.

Though I  worked in a number of films under various directors in the meantime, I always wanted to act under her direction again." "Finally, she has offered me a role in her new film 'From Bangladesh'. As a director, Kakoli Apu herself is an institute of knowledge.

Under her direction, an artiste can really sharpen his or her acting skills. Coming to work under her direction, I am enriching my acting skill and learning more about the acting world. I am really optimistic about our new mission together," the actress added. Tama-starrer 'From Bangladesh' is expected to hit cinemas in the middle of 2020.
