Super Sub Ronaldo Rescues Victory For Portugal

Portugal 2-1 Scotland
Portugal made it back-to-back wins in the UEFA Nations League after defeating Scotland 2-1 on Sunday night.

Portugal defeated Scotland 2-1 with Ronaldo scoring late, while Spain beat Switzerland 4-1 despite a red card. Denmark won 2-0 against Serbia, and Croatia edged Poland 1-0 with a Modric free-kick.

Cristiano Ronaldo dropped to the bench after scoring in the win over Croatia, as Diogo Jota was recalled to the line-up while Scotland were unchanged from the defeat to Poland.

The visitors took the lead after ten minutes when former Manchester United star Scott McTominay found the back of the net, making it two goals in two games. Portugal had to wait until

the 54th minute for the equaliser when Bruno Fernandes scored with a first time finish from the edge of the box. The hosts went to bag the winning goal in the final two minute as substitute Ronaldo by turning home Nundo Mendes' cross.

Switzerland 1-4 Spain
Ten-man Spain thrashed Switzerland for their first win in the Nations League on Sunday night.

La Roja raced into an early lead when Joselu opened the scoring after being set up by Lamine Yamal on four minutes, before Fabian Ruiz doubled the lead in the 13th minute.

Things got a little tough for Spain on 20 minutes when Robin Le Normand was shown a red card while Zeki Amdouni pulled a goal back for Switzerland four minutes later.

Despite being man down, Spain bagged a third goal through Ruiz's second goal of the night while Ferran Torres rounded off the scoring with ten minutes to play.

Denmark 2-0 Serbia
Denmark made it back-to-back wins in Group 4 after defeating Serbia 2-0 on Sunday evening.

Albert Gronbaek opened the scoring in the 36th minute, before Youssef Poulsen got the two-goal cushion after the hour mark.

Croatia 1-0 Poland
Croatia bounced back from the loss to Portugal with a 1-0 win over Poland on Sunday evening.

Captain Luka Modric opened the scoring seven minutes after the halftime break with a lovely free-kick from just outside the box.
