Al Ahly Studying 'Three' Offers For Tau
Egyptian giants Al Ahly are reportedly analysing three offers they are believed to have received for Percy Tau. According to Al Masry Al Youm, the Red Devils are considering proposals they have been sent for the 30-year-old South Africa international's services.
Egyptian club Al Ahly is evaluating three offers for Percy Tau, with his departure expected at season’s end. Teams from South Africa, the Gulf region, and Morocco are interested. Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club is a potential destination, possibly reuniting Tau with Rulani Mokwena.
It appears the former Mamelodi Sundowns man is set to bid farewell to the Club of the Century at the end of the season, with manager Marcel Koller said to have green-lit his departure.
The outlet cites sources within Al Ahly, who claim Tau is being closely monitored by teams in South Africa, the Gulf region and Morocco.
Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club recently emerged as a potential next destination for the ex-Brighton & Hove Albion star, with a possible reunion with Rulani Mokwena on the cards.
It is further suggested Tau is turning down approaches and has demanded Al Ahly terminates his deal, which could see him being handsomely compensated.
The Bafana Bafana attacker joined the Red Devils in 2021 and has since contributed to 40 goals in 109 matches across all competitions.
