Spain optimistic about welcoming int’l travellers simply by June
Spanish tourism officials are hopeful they will have the proper protocols prepared to welcome back overseas travellers by come early july.

"Spain will be ready in June to show all travellers all over the world that you can visit us with certainty," the country's Secretary of Talk about of Tourism, Fernando Valdes Verelst, said throughout a panel debate at the World Travel and Tourism Council's (WTTC) Global Summit in Cancun, Mexico recently.

At present, Americans cannot visit Spain for leisure purposes, and the US State Department has released a Level-4 travelling advisory for the European vacation spot, advising travellers never to visit because of Covid-19.

The Centers for Disease Handles and Prevention (CDC) in addition has issued an even 4 Travel Health Notice for Spain due to the pandemic.

Earlier this month, EU member states decided to move ahead with a Digital Green Certificate that seeks to facilitate safe and sound travel throughout the continent as early as this summer.

The temporary measure would use a QR code to see the proper authorities in regards to a traveler's health status, including whether they've received an approved Covid-19 vaccine, totally recovered from the virus or tested negative within an acceptable timeframe.
