Siam to play cop in his upcoming film 'Shaan'
Popular heart-throb actor of Dhallywood Siam Ahmed will play the character of assistant commissioner of police in M Rahim's upcoming film 'Shaan'.
Siam, who made his silver screen debut with 'Poramon 2' in 2018, has won the hearts of film lovers playing diverse roles. The actor played a simple minded village youth in 'Poramon 2', goon for hire in 'Dahan' and language movement activist in 'Fagun Haway'.'I like to play diverse characters. In my upcoming venture 'Shaan', I will be seen as an assistant commissioner of police. The film is being directed by M Rahim,' said Siam.
'Shaan' is an action thriller film. The story of the film revolves around 'Shaan', who, after passing the Bangladesh Civil Service examinations, joins the police force to serve the nation. He is an honest and courageous police officer,' he added.'The film will also portray the contemporary realities. I hope the film lovers will find it entertaining,' said Siam, who is acting opposite Puja Cheery in the film. 'Shaan' is currently being filmed at various districts across the country.
Besides, Siam is looking forward to act in web series. He is in talks with several noted directors. 'I have talked to Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Raihan Rafi, Shihab Saheen and few others regarding acting in web series. However, I am extremely busy with shootings for my upcoming ventures. I will act in web series when I have a bit more time on my hands,' said Siam.
