Siam-Pori paired up for 'Bishwa Shundori'
For the first time Dhallywood stars Siam and Porimoni have paired up for Chayanika Chowdhury's debut feature film 'Bishwa Shundori'.Formal declaration (Shubho Maharat) of the film was held at a restaurant on Wednesday where Chayanika Chowdhury introduced the film's cast.
Actors Siam, Porimoni, Subarna Mustafa and others were present at the program. The film will be produced by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited. Besides Subarna, Siam and Porimoni, the romantic film will also star Fazlur Rahman Babu, Monira Mithu and others.
'I have worked under the direction of Chayanika Chowdhury in TV dramas. She always comes up with new ideas and thoughts. I hope that film lovers will find the film entertaining,' Siam Ahmed told New Age. As for pairing up with Porimoni, one of the most popular actresses of Dhallywood, Siam said, 'I am looking forward to working with Porimoni, who is a very talented actress. I have watched Porimoni's Swapnajal where her acting is impressive. I hope viewers will like our onscreen chemistry.'
Chayanika Chowdhury, who has directed around 400 teleplays and serials, said, 'I was always interested in directing films but didn't get a befitting script to work on. I hope this film will entertain film lovers across the country. 'Bishwa Shundori' will be a message-oriented romantic film.' 'The film will go on shooting floor in June,' she added.
