Shahed, Masud's 52 bank accounts frozen
A court in Dhaka has ordered to freeze 52 bank accounts of Regent Hospital owner and chairman
Shahed Karim alias Mohammad Shahedand its managing director Masud Parvez in a money laundering case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge KM Imrul Kayes passed the order on Wednesday.
Earlier, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) inspector Moniruzzaman, also the investigation officer of the case, submitted a petition in this regard.
On July 16, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Shahed from Satkhira border in a case filed over issuance of fake Covid-19 test results and charging patients for ensure that you treatment at Regent Hospital.
