Seven workers burnt in Dhaka factory
Seven worker of a factory in city's Kadamtoli area suffered burn injuries when some melted iron fell on them early Sunday.
The incident took place at about 4am at Kamal Still Mills Ltd.
Burnt workers Russel, 32, Redwan, 25, Sifat, 28, Shohag, 26, Babar, 35, Dulal, 30 and Sujon, 27, were admitted to the burnt unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Of them, four left the hospital after taking first aid, the DMCH police box assistant in-charge ASI Abdul Khan confirmed.
The factory supervisor Sanjit Mandal said the melted iron fell on the workers while they were receiving melted iron from a furnace.
