Senior Jail Super, Jailer withdrawn above distinctive treatment to prisoner
Senior Jail Superintendent of Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Ratna Roy and Jailer Nur Mohammad have already been withdrawn for violating the prison regulations.
With this, a total of five prison officials were withdrawn for providing special treatment to a convicted prisoner Hallmark Group's GM Tushar Ahmed.
Inspector General (IG) of Prisons Brigadier Standard Md Mominur Rahman Mamun confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Sunday noon.
He said the five officials were mounted on the Prisons Headquarters.
Previously January 18, Deputy Jail Super Mohammad Saqlain, Sergeant Abdul Bari and assistant chief prison safeguard Kholilur Rahman were removed over the incident.
CCTV footage of the incident showed on January 06, prisoner Tushar, brother-in-laws of Hallmark MD Tanvir Mahmud, met a female in the cabin of a good prison official for about 46 minutes.
The girl was allegedly escorted to the cabin of a prison official by Deputy Jailer of Kashimpur Central Jail-1 Md Golam Saqlain, and two others. Senior Jail Super Ratna Roy was also present at her office during the time.
