Send Mainul Hosein to jail, court orders
A Dhaka court on Tuesday rejected the bail petition of Mainul Hosein in a defamation case and ordered to send him jail.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kaisarul Islam passed the order after hearing on the case.
Earlier on Monday night, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police detained former adviser to a caretaker government Mainul Hosein in a defamation cases filed in Rangpur.
Several cases were filed across the country against Mainul Hosein for hurling abusive words on journalist Masuda Bhatti in a television talk-show.
