Rockets fired from Syria territory in Turkey, no casualties: ministry
Rockets fired from regime-controlled areas found in Syria landed in a good border place of southern Turkey but caused no injuries or perhaps destruction, the defence ministry tweeted on Thursday.

The rockets fell in an empty field in the border province of Kilis, the ministry said.

Turkey “sent a notification to the RF (Russian Federation) to avoid firing and the designated targets were immediately hit rear,” it added.

Ankara also set its troops in the region “on alert”.

Turkey and Russia job for a remedy to the conflict found in Syria, which marks ten years of civil war, despite the fact that they remain on the contrary sides.

Moscow is a significant ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad while Ankara backs opposition rebels fighting for his ouster.

In March this past year, Turkey and Russia agreed a ceasefire in Syria’s north-western Idlib province so that you can avert a significant escalation.

The agreement came after 36 Turkish soldiers were killed in Idlib throughout a Russian-backed Syrian government offensive.
