Regent Airways launches mobile app for customers
Regent Airways has launched its mobile app through a press conference held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

Salman Habib, Deputy Managing Director, Regent Airways formally launched the mobile app.

The app enables customers to use their mobile devices to book flights and have their tickets issued. It can be downloaded from iTunes or Google Play Store for their IOS and Android mobile devices.

Hanif Zakaria, Chief Commercial Officer and Sohail Majid, Director, Marketing and Sales of the airline were present on the occasion among others.

“As a customer focused Airline, we are constantly working on offering user-friendly solutions to enhance overall experience of our customers and meet their ever growing demands,” said Salman Habib, Deputy Managing Director, Regent Airways.

“I am confident that our valued customers will find this newly introduced Mobile App with multiple features very user-friendly and useful,” he added.

After booking flights and having their tickets issued using the app, the customers will receive their tickets through their e-mails.

Besides, they will be provided with updated flight schedule and various offers from the airline.

In the next subsequent development phases, features like online mobile check-in, ticket re-issue and refunds will be included.

“Hopefully by next year, customers will be able to issue their own boarding pass and self- board their flights, check the flight status, get actual arrival and departure time information,” said Salman Habib.

To mark the launch of this new product, during the first four weeks, the airline will draw a lucky winner every week from among all customers who download and book their tickets via the App.

Regent Airways started its journey on November 10, 2010. The airline presently operates flights to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Jashore, Saidpur and Dhaka in the domestic sector.

International network of the airline includes Kolkata, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Doha and Muscat.

The airline is planning schedule services to Guangzhou in China.

Presently Regent Airways fleet consists of 8 aircrafts; four B737-800, two B737-700 and two Dash-8-Q300.
