Rahmatul Muneem new NBR chairman
The government has appointed Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem as new chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday (January 1).
Prior to this position, he was working as senior secretary of energy and mineral resources division.
He is replacing Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan as the NBR chief, whose term finishes on January 2.
Muneem, who is currently on LPR, will also act as the senior secretary of the Internal Resources Division for the next two years.
