According to 90min, the French giants have accepted the Saudi giants' offer for the 24-year-old. Mbappe has less than a year remaining on his deal in Paris, and is reportedly unwilling to agree to an extension, much to his club's anger. Les Parisiens have, as a result, put the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner up for sale as they hope to bring in a transfer fee for his signature in this window to avoid losing him for free in 2024.

On Monday, reports across Europe suggested Al Hilal would be willing to pay a world-record fee to secure his services, even for just a single season before he joins Real Madrid.

It is said the Saudi Pro League side are ready to pay Mbappe a staggering €700 million (R13.6 billion) as a total package.

PSG recently left the Frenchman out of their travelling squad for the team's pre-season tour of Japan as they plan for the next campaign without him.
