Promotion system to increase doctor’s service in village
Medical officer’s promotion and inclusion of referral system will inspire doctors to stay in village to perform the job, said Patient Welfare Foundation on Tuesday.
If the medical officers get the scope of promotion (like medical officer, senior medical officer, deputy chief medical officer, chief medical officer) through examinations and inclusion of referral system will motivate the doctors to serve in villages spontaneously, said a statement issued by Patient Welfare Foundation President Dr Kazi Shahidul Alam and general secretary Dr Rakibul Islam Litu.
