Mark you date: OnePlus 6T will go official on October 30th
OnePlus has been teasing its upcoming smartphones — the OnePlus 6T, for a while through its social media platforms. While the company has already hinted at some of the highlight features of the device, they have also announced the launch date for the highly anticipated smartphone. Yes, the OnePlus 6T will be made official on the 30th of October.
The launch event will take place in New Delhi. As usual, fans will be able to watch the event live through OnePlus’ social channels. However, OnePlus is also letting fans get a chance to witness the launch the have a first-person hands-on experience of the device by putting tickets of the event for sale. Attendees will receive a selection of exclusive gifts worth several times the value of admission. The invitation vouchers will be available on October 17 at 10:00 am.
Up until now, OnePlus has made certain details about the device official. We already know that the OnePlus 6T will lose the capacitive fingerprint sensor and feature an in-display fingerprints sensor. This has also led to the omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is why OnePlus will be introducing the USB-C wired headphone as well. The notch on the display will also be a tad smaller than before. Underneath, it’s essentially a OnePlus 6 with a Snapdragon 845, at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
