President returns to Dhaka from Kishoreganj
President Abdul Hamid returned to Dhaka after a 7-day tour to his home district Kishoreganj.
A VIP helicopter, carrying the President, took off from Austagram upazila of Kishoreganj around 3.45 pm on Monday (October 15) and flew towards Dhaka.
The President was given Guard of Honor before flying.
President Abdul Hamid inspected the progress of different development works in Austagram upazila in afternoon.
MP of Kishoreganj-3 constituency and the eldest son of the president Rezwan Ahmed Toufiq, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sarwar Murshed Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, Ashtagram Upazila Parishad chairman Shahidul Islam were present to bid farewell to the president.
President Abdul Hamid spent a busy time in Tarail, Kishoreganj Sadar, Mithamain and Ashtagram upazilas during his stay.
He went to Kishoreganj on October 9.
