PM Hasina pays courtesy call on President Hamid
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday paid a courtesy to ask President Abdul Hamid in his office room.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the President for delivering a commemorative speech on the life span, work, and ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the special session of Parliament on the occasion of ‘Mujib Borsho’.
President Hamid delivered his special speech in Parliament marking the ‘Mujib Borsho’ at night.
The Prime Minister and the President discussed the entire situation of the united states, like the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Hasina briefed Abdul Hamid on various steps taken by the federal government to address the coronavirus situation.
The President appreciated the initiatives and hoped that Bangladesh would continue to move forward on the road of development and progress by tackling the pandemic.
President's wife Rashida Khanom was also present through the courtesy meeting.
