PM asks to stay alert generation after generation
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called upon new generations to be dutiful as well as aware of country’s future.
Sheikh Hasina urged the new generations to take the country forward by upholding independence and stay alert so none can play ducks and drakes with the lot of the people in future.
“So all the people, including the youthfolk, of Bangladesh will have to take responsibility,” she said.
The prime minister made this urge while taking part in a discussion at Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh (KIB) Auditorium in the capital on Saturday (December 14).
The premier said the countrymen will have to think that the traitors like Mir Zafar and Khandaker Moshtaque were born again and again and the killer like Zia’ has come again.
Bangladesh Awami League organized the discussion on the occasion of the Martyred Intellectuals Day.
AL Advisory Council Member Amir Hossain Amu, Presidium Members Begum Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Advocate Abdul Matin Khasru, Dr Abdur Razzaque, General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Joint Secretary Abdur Rahman, Liberation War Affairs Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das took part in the discussion.
