PM asks Eid holidaymakers to leave Dhaka after blood test
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is now touring London, asked the residents of Dhaka to conduct dengue test before leaving for district homes on occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
She made the instruction so that the holidaymakers cannot bear the mosquito-borne viral fever to outside the capital city.
HT Imam, political adviser to the premier, disclosed the instruction to reporters Wednesday (July 31).
The prime minister issued the instruction from London, he said.
HT Imam was talking to reporters after submitting a financial statement of Awami League to Election Commission (EC).
"It (dengue) will spread more if they (Dhaka residents) go outside with dengue," he quoted Sheikh Hasina.
