OIC delegation to visit Rohingya camp Wednesday
A 7-member parliamentary delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will visit Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday (September 12).
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam urged the organization, at a meeting with the delegation, to play a significant role in Rohingya crisis, said a released issued from the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday (September 11).
A 16-member delegation of OIC parliamentary Union had a meeting with state minister on Tuesday. In the meeting, he focused on Rohingya issue. The minister requested for more action, the release also said.
The delegation includes members of Algeria, Iran, Malaysia, Morocco, Sudan and Turkey.
