Number of coronavirus infections on rise in country
Coronavirus infections cases have stood at 11,719 in Bangladesh with recording the best number of infections in last a day.
Some 790 new cases and three deaths were recorded in last a day, taking the amount of deaths to 186.
Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the matter on Wednesday in the daily online bulletin.
She requested all to remain home and follow coronavirus guidelines to safe the virus infection.
A complete of 6,771 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Of the dead, two were male and one was female. Two hailed from Dhaka and one outside Dhaka, the bulletin informed.
Some 184 patients have already been sent to isolation unit during the past 24 hours.
