Highest 786 new cases recorded in last 24 hrs, one death
Bangladesh recorded the best number of coronavirus infection cases in last a day, taking the quantity to 10,929.
Some 786 new coronavirus cases and one death were reported within the last 24 hours, taking the amount of deaths to 183.
Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the problem on Tuesday afternoon in the daily online bulletin on the coronavirus situation.
The dead person was male, a resident of Dhaka, aged about 21-30.
A total of 6,182 samples were tested in the past a day where 786 patients found positive for the virus, she said.
The quantity of death from the deadly virus decreased within the last 24 hours but the infected cases rose, Dr Nasima said, adding that some 193 patients made recovery from the condition during the period.
Some 128 patients have already been delivered to isolation units previously 24 hours.
