Now DU student dies of dengue
A Dhaka University (DU) student died of dengue fever at a hospital in capital Dhaka on Friday night.

Deceased Firoz Kabir Swadheen was the 20th batch of Finance Department. He hailed from Thakurgaon district. He lived at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of the university.

The hall provost Mofizur Rahman confirmed the matter around 9:30pm, reports a Bangla online news portal.

Firoz Kabir has recently been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) with Dengue fever. Later, he has been sent to Square Hospital where he today died.

On Thursday night, Dr Tania Sultana, a student of FCPS Part-II at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), died of Dengue fever at a hospital in Dhaka. 

Earlier, Nigar Nahid Dipu, a physician of Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, and Habiganj Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Shahadat Hossain Hazra died of dengue.

Dengue has taken a severe turn this year with official figures showing 9,256 people getting infected from January to July 26 and 10 of them losing their lives.
