Noted Rabindra Sangeet singer Mita Haque dies of COVID-19
Noted Rabindra Sangeet singer and Ekushey Padak winner Mita Haque possesses died of COVID-19 in Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka. 

She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the hospital at about 6:20 am on Sunday. 

Mita Haque’s daughter Farhin Khan Joyita confirmed the death information.

She tested positive for novel coronavirus on March 25 and was in isolation in the home. She was admitted to the hospital on March 31 and discharged after 11 times.

Mita was again rushed to a healthcare facility on Saturday where she died this morning. 

She was born in 1962. She was awarded Ekushey Padak, the next highest civilian award in Bangladesh, by the federal government in 2020 on her behalf contributions to music.
