Natalie Portman's first look as Mighty Thor revealed
The first look of Natalie Portman as Lady Thor or the Mighty Thor from 'Thor: Love and Thunder' may have just been revealed through a tee-shirt design that was posted on Instagram.
Although still unconfirmed, the picture of Natalie's character, Jane Foster in Asgardian armour, complete with a cape and helmet does the round on social media. What makes the tee-shirt artwork even more interesting is that it features the feminine character wielding Mjollnir. The artwork also gives us an excellent look at Chris Hemsworth's lead character Thor sporting new and improved body armour with gold detailing and holding his weapon - Storm Breaker.
There, by their side may be the 'Queen of Asgard', aka Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson. Fans on Twitter were quick to indicate that the characters and their body armour got an enormous makeover since we last saw them in the events of 'Avengers: Endgame'. Although information regarding Portman's transformation in to the Mighty Thor haven't been revealed, reports recommend that the Taika Waititi directorial will draw its plot from the Mighty Thor storyline where Jane is identified as having cancer and ends up proving to be 'worthy' to wielding the hammer. With this, she gains superpowers, much like that of Thor.
The highly anticipated film also stars Christian Bale as the villain, Gorr the God Butcher. Buzz is that the actor has been tapped to play a bigger role in the MCU, considering that his character is reported to be person who could put Thanos to shame. If rumours should be believed, then Gorr could set himself up as the best villain and play a key role in the new phase of the Marvel universe.
