Naomi was mistaken for Deepika
While promoting the 2019 Disney blockbuster 'Aladdin', actor Naomi Scott recalled enough time on set when she was mistaken for Deepika Padukone in a training video that she was watching.

Naomi, who's of Indian descent, said that she didn't correct the individual who thought she looked like Deepika. Within an interview to BBC, when the interviewer asked her if Princess Jasmine was encouraged by Bollywood actresses, Naomi explained, "I must let you know this funny story.

Do you know Nagada Sang Dhol? I was participating in it on set -- and I got an American cast and crew -- so I'm participating in it because I love that song so substantially, and literally an individual was like, 'Oh it's so exquisite, Nay, is normally that you?' and I was exactly like, 'Yeah, it is certainly, it is.'"

She continued, "I thought to myself, 'you could be compared to worse people than Deepika, so I'll have that because she's pretty beautiful'." Actor Tara Sutaria was as well in the working for the role of Princess Jasmine. Actor Will Smith, who enjoyed Genie in the film, said in an interview that he motivated Ritchie to embrace Bollywood aesthetic in the film.
