Music sets my mood whenever I feel depressed
Madhumita Sarcar whose hottest film 'Tangra Blues' discusses redemption through music is pleased to see the response their film has received. The actress says it's a jubilant musical trip.
So, what kind of a music listener is she in true to life, we asked the talented actress. "My music collection possesses everything, from flamenco to Turkish music. I love listening to a myriad of music, become it Russian, Nepali, folk, instrumental or unconventional and actually this genre in Tangra Blues. I like noise-based music arrangement too," shares Madhumita.
What impact does music have in her life? "I cannot live without my headphones. Music sets my disposition. Mood-wise my playlist alterations too. EASILY feel depressed, I know which songs would support me overcome that. Consequently, music helps me a lot. There is normally not a single day time where I don't pay attention to at least 10-12 songs, even if I have a whole lot of work to accomplish. I always possess headphones with me," brings Madhumita.
The film 'Tangra Blues' is loosely inspired by the real-existence story of Sanjay Mandal and his group from Tangra. There are things that coincide with Sanjay's life; others fail to do hence. Madhumita plays Joyee, who's relocated by the performances of the music band, built solely out of your raw talents of little slum kids.
