Muntassir Mamoon recovers from Covid-19
Noted historian Professor Muntassir Mamoon returned home today (Monday) as he recovered from Covid-19 (coronavirus) infection.
Muntassir Mamoon first admitted at Mugda General Medical College and Hospital and later, he was shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Mamun Siddikqui, student of Muntassir Mamoon, confirmed the problem to Banglanews.
“Sir returned home on Monday from hospital,” he said.
ON, MAY 10, Dr Muntassir, a professor (Bangabandhu Chair) at the annals department of Dhaka University, was taken up to the hospital with respiratory problems.
His mother Jahana Khan, 86, earlier recovered from the coronavirus infection and returned home from Kurmitola General Hospital in the administrative centre.
