'Money Honey' season 2
The web series 'Money Honey', which left the viewers on a cliffhanger at the end of the first season, is receiving accolades from all quarters for its smart presentation.Produced by Hoichoi, a popular video-on-demand platform, this web series is jointly directed by Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay.
The lead characters of this web series, Shahriar and Sohel, were played by Shamol Mawla and Mostafizur Noor Imran. These two actors have won the hearts of the viewers with their performance.'Money Honey' happens to be second web series from Hoichoi for the viewers of Bangladesh. The production of Season 2 of this web series is currently underway.
"I knew Mostafizur Noor Imran even before this work. When I heard the story of this web series, I immediately understood that it would stand apart from other contemporary stories. The story of money heist and later escaping with the money under disguise really intrigued me. I couldn't wait to see what will happen next to our characters!" said Shamol Mawla when asked about the story behind 'Money Honey'.
"The series is based on a true incident that took place about five years ago. So, this is not a made-up story. Being a method actor, I prepared myself to get into the character of Sohel. I felt it really challenging to portray the complex web of emotions of Sohel after he gets duped by the bank," Mostafizur Noor Imran said.
We had to shoot at different locations across the country. All those places were far from each other. "Working with Hoichoi has been a pleasurable experience for us. In the web series, we have the freedom to experiment with our content. Hoichoi has given us that very freedom. 'Money Honey' has a story line that can compete with any international series. The story of 'Money Honey' has just begun. We haven't gone in depth yet.
With each episode of the first season, we wanted to hook the audience to see the next episode. But after completing the entire first season, we had to raise the bar and we are doing just that. If everything goes according to plan, the viewers will find more excitement in Season 2 very soon. " Shamol added.
