'Money Honey'
Hoichoi an online streaming platform is going to release a new original web series titled 'Money Honey', which is based on a true story, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The web series, scheduled to stream on Hoichoi after Eid-ul-Fitr, has been jointly directed by Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay.
The story of the web series revolves around a 32-year-old divorcee, Shahriar Kabir, who works in Dhaka Stock Exchange. He spends his days gambling, partying, flirting with women and drinking alcohol. Kabir is smooth talkers who can make anyone fall in love with him. Things were going fine in his life till a catastrophe hit the stock market and his life turns topsy-turvy. That's where the story hits off.
'Money Honey' was officially announced on May 14 by revealing the first look of the web series through a poster. Regarding the web-series, Sakib R Khan, Lead, 'Hoichoi Bangladesh' said, 'We are very excited about this one because this is the first time, we are embarking on taking a true incident from Dhaka and presenting the story as a Hoichoi original series. This indeed is the beginning of a beautiful era for Bangla content in online streaming platform. 'Money Honey' has a unique narration and storytelling; we hope that the audience will immensely enjoy the series.'
Shaymol Mawla, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Lutfar Rahman George, Sumon Anwar, Nishat Priyom, and Naziba Bashar are the key cast members of the series.
